Anyone for Polo?

Thanks to Foffa Bikes, this May Bank Holiday weekend, featured a day out at the Polo in sunny Gloucestershire. But this wasn't just any old Polo match, this was the Jerudong, Maserati Polo game at Cirencester Polo Club with no less than HRH Prince Harry captaining a team.

The match itself was very exciting and extremely fast! Prince Harry's team put up a good fight but were beaten at the end by 6-8. Despite not winning the main prize Prince Harry won most valuable player. We wonder if he wins this every year.

And from one Prince to another, our bike bags shared pride of place with Foffa Bikes who not being outdone by the horses, put on a Bike Polo match. Although easier to control than horses, this game of bike polo was also pretty tough but the speeds weren't quite as fast as the real thing. It's a good enough reason to practice no-hand cycling though!

We managed to get a few lovely snaps of our bike bags on the polo pitch and we think they look quite at home.
