Ahead of this year's Eroica Britannia we caught up with one the organisers, Sally Clark to find out what's new at this effervescently eccentric event held in the stunning peak district.
What’s new at Eroica Britannia 2017?
A new site for starters! We have moved to a beautiful new site - Friden Grange - just up the road from our home for the last 3 years, Bakewell. There is so much going on this year - check the 'What's on' for more...But some of our favourite new happenings are...
Headline music acts including the iconic Norman Jay MBE on Friday evening and 80's legends ABC on Saturday on the Main Stage.
The Britannia Arms - A, all new Festival British boozer complete with a quintessentially British pub. darts, dominos. Open Till Late!

Discussions, lectures, have your say. The Inner Tube is a programme dedicated to the magnificent bike, inspirational riders, tales of freedom, adventure and heroic deeds happening in The Britannia Arms on Saturday afternoon.
Even more family fun: a brand new all Adventure Kids Club with den-building, campfires, an outdoor cinema, arts and a teddy bears picnic. Think tipis, forest dwellings, craft corners, forest-craft workshops and exploration exploits!

Meet the Makers: An audience with some of the best crafters, makers and creatives from the area and beyond sharing their stories and secrets.
An even bigger Welcome Home Party! Riders are welcomed back to the Festival after the ride with all sorts of jubilation including a Lancaster Bomber flyover.
The Bars! Can we say that!? Hendrick's Gin are back for their 4th year with an amazing experience, Eroica Britannia HQ is going to be wonderful and we're really excited by Jägermeister's cocktails created by Florian Beuren.
Wow, that's a lot going on. What are you most excited about this year?
Has to be The Ride, It would be the same answer each time! It is truly marvellous and means so much to us. It is incredible to take part in it - and almost even better if you're a spectator - we're not known as The World's Most Handsome Bike Ride for nothing!
What’s the funniest thing you have seen so far at the festival?
Absolutely a lady wearing a vintage wedding dress, attempting to ride a Penny Farthing through The Festival.
The Best in Show competition is getting quite ...well competitive it seems. What's the most impressive outfit you’ve seen and have you got any advice for any would be winners?
Best in Show is a real laugh - it is meant to be taken as a fun thing to be a part of - but we do know of a family who have multiple outfit changes planned. All of the outfits are impressive...People go to a huge amount of effort - which is why we've really up'ed the prize haul for this year - to give a huge reward for getting into the spirit!
Advice... Patrick Grant is head judge again - he has some words of wisdom here.
We’re bringing our British collection of bags to the Best of Britannia tent this year. Which is your favourite Hill & Ellis bag?
We LOVE the Navy leather Bike Bag (Professor) ...So Handsome!
